About this assignment
1. Manage end-to-end plant accounting and Accounts Payable activities as per SOPs and DOA. 2. Validate contracts, POs, GRNs, invoices, approvals and supporting documents before accounting. 3. Monitor vendor ageing, payment due dates, MSME payments and advance adjustments. 4. Review and process employee travel/reimbursement claims through the expense management system and SAP. 5. Ensure correct GST, TDS and TCS treatment and provide accurate data to Head Office for statutory filings. 6. Monitor budgeted/unbudgeted expenses and prepare Budget vs. Actual analysis. 7. Ensure correct cost-centre allocation and plant expense classification. 8. Monitor CapEx, CWIP ageing, project expenditure and support timely capitalisation. 9. Monitor inventory consumption, ageing, reconciliations and physical verification. 10. Support job-work, stock transfers and related accounting/documentation requirements. 11. Prepare monthly MIS covering AP, advances, expenses, CapEx, inventory and other plant metrics. 12. Support statutory/internal audits and ensure timely closure of audit requirements. 13. Identify process deviations, control weaknesses and financial risks and escalate promptly. 14. Qualification: B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter/Semi-qualified CA or equivalent; 3–8 years relevant experience preferred. 15. Mandatory: SAP/ERP & Excel knowledge, sound accounting/GST understanding, and ability to read/write/communicate in Kannada. Work Location & Travel Requirements The candidate will predominantly manage the client’s Hassan Plant, Karnataka. During lean periods or based on business requirements, the candidate may also be required to support and travel to the client’s plants in Pune, Maharashtra and Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Inter-office/location travel, food and accommodation expenses for such official travel will be reimbursed or arranged by the client/company, as applicable.
