Audit readiness: review of trial balances and ledgers, closing entries, accruals, provisions and cut-off before auditor fieldwork. Schedules and reconciliations: preparation of audit schedules, bank, vendor, customer, intercompany and control-account reconciliations, with supporting documents. Auditor coordination: managing PBC (Prepared-by-Client) lists, compiling requested documents, and responding to auditor queries within agreed timelines. Audit adjustments: analyzing proposed audit adjustments and helping the Client team post and document agreed entries. Financial statements: support in drafting and tying-out financial statements and notes with the trial balance and schedules. Status tracking: an entity-wise audit closure tracker, with regular updates to Client Management on progress, open points, and bottlenecks Long Shot is a freelancing platform for finance professionals.
