About this assignment
Key Responsibilities: Perform Application Security Assessments, including Black Box, Grey Box, and White Box testing for web and enterprise applications. Conduct Mobile Application Security Testing for Android and iOS applications to identify security vulnerabilities. Perform API Security Testing to evaluate authentication, authorization, data exposure, and API-specific vulnerabilities. Execute Penetration Testing (VAPT) on web applications, mobile applications, operating systems, and network infrastructure. Conduct Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) to identify security flaws during the software development lifecycle. Integrate security best practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps processes (DevSecOps). Assess applications against OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and recommend effective remediation measures. Utilize security tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, and Nmap for vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and network discovery. Perform Operating System (OS) and Network VAPT to identify infrastructure vulnerabilities and security gaps. Prepare detailed vulnerability assessment reports, risk ratings, proof of concepts (PoCs), and remediation recommendations. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to resolve identified vulnerabilities and strengthen the organization's security posture. Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement in security assessments.
