About this assignment
Key Responsibilities: Conduct audits of trade finance and trade operations to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Review and audit Letters of Credit (LCs), invoice discounting, and domestic and international remittance transactions. Audit export and import finance operations, including compliance with EDPMS (Export Data Processing and Monitoring System) and IDPMS (Import Data Processing and Monitoring System) regulations. Evaluate transactions executed through the Trade Receivables Discounting System (TReDS). Review compliance and documentation related to Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Overseas Direct Investment (ODI) transactions. Audit the issuance and management of Bank Guarantees (BGs), Electronic Bank Guarantees (e-BGs), and SWIFT messaging operations. Review foreign currency loan processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines. Audit foreign exchange (Forex) operations, including transaction processing, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Identify operational, compliance, and financial risks, and recommend corrective actions to strengthen internal controls. Prepare audit reports, document findings, and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations. Long Shot is a freelancing platform for finance professionals.
